What should we bring?
Bring too much stuff! The more you bring the more inspiration I have, and the quicker I get to know you. I have props at the shop to help make your shoot pop off the pages, but your items are the kickstart to the creative process.
What should we wear?
I love to style my clients! Bring your favorite outfits and any interesting pieces in your closet, and we will play dress up for the first part of your shoot. With families it is fun to match, but it is always more important for your clothes to just "go" with one another. Mix patterns and colors while keeping all articles in the same tones. If your family is full of little families, dress each family in a different color. This is a fun way to organize a large group.
I'm getting hair and makeup. How do you want me to arrive?
Show up with clean, dry hair. When you arrive we will consult about the styling you want and go from there. Make sure that your face is clean and well moisturized with no left over mascara or eye liner around your eyes.
Where are we going to go?
I never know where we are going. It is so fun to be spontaneous! When you arrive we will discuss background options. A natural setting might be a dry field, green orchard, lake view, or creek bed. An industrial setting might be metal, stone, cement, or a falling down building.
After we have a rough idea what we want we drive towards something I already know of. A lot of the time we find a location on the way and get something even better than I imagined. I am always scouting new locations!
Who reviews the film?
Your images come in both color and black and white. They are burnt on to a printable CD. The CD has a copyright release form that gives my clients the freedom to print what they want, when they want it. All image files come in the same dimensions you see during review (basic 4x6 format). You do not get the images in thier original pixel ratio. This allows you to upload them to your favorite social network sites while still being able to print large clear images. Your image CD comes within two weeks of the submittal of your final choices.
Prints take about three weeks to get back and a CD takes about two weeks.

What if we want more images?
Additional images are always only $5 each. Sometimes it gets hard to choose and you just want them all. For people like you there is an option. Ask for a quote to get an unedited copy of every image!
How many people per shoot?
Bring as many people as you want! There is never an additional fee to bring someone into part or all of your shoot. If we are shooting outdoors there is no number too big, but if we are shooting in my studio there is a maximum of 8-13 people.
Who owns the copyright?
We share the copyright to any film you purchase. Meaning that we can both use the images as we see fit. As the client you can not sell our images. You can not enter them into contests as your own work, and you can not remove my logo in editing software. If you do not want your photos online, printed, or used to help promote TAC Studios there is a box to check on our contract. As the photographer and business owner I will respect your specific wishes.
Does TAC save the untouched film?
I save all the untouched film forever. If you ever decide that you want more of your film or an additional CD just ask!
